Pokémon Gold for Game Boy Color (Japanese version)

Get ready to return to the atmospheric Johto region, where it all began for the second generation! Here we have the Japanese version of Pokémon Gold (Pocket Monsters Gold) for Game Boy Color. This game revolutionized the series when it was released, introducing an internal clock with day and night cycles, new Pokémon types such as Dark and Steel, as well as the ability to breed new Pokémon.

This game offers pure retro magic and deep gameplay enjoyment:

• No region lock: The Game Boy Color has no region lock! This means this Japanese cartridge works perfectly on your Norwegian Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Advance SP.

• Shimmering gold cartridge: The special, glittering gold cartridge is one of Nintendo’s most recognizable designs and looks fantastic on display in your collection.

• Introduced iconic mechanics: Experience the game that gave us Pokémon Eggs, the Pokégear, Berries, and two entire new regions to explore after you finish the main story.

• Great for language practice: Perfect for anyone learning or studying Japanese, as all the text is written in easy-to-read Hiragana and Katakana.

• Genuine nostalgia: Insert the cartridge and get ready to choose between Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile on the color screen.

This is an excellent addition for any Pokémon enthusiast who wants to own a genuine and authentic piece of gaming history on original hardware.

Note: Sold as a loose cartridge without a box.
